sippin‘ wine and shooting photos

März 20, 2018

Finally, the first blog entry from me – hurray!

And luckily, I get to tell you about the funniest and nicest team building activity we’ve done in a while. Not like the usual get togethers with a lot of wine, a blank sheet of paper and late-night brainstorming sessions, this was of a different kind – but don’t get me wrong, nothing against our mind-blowing sessions!

Having this great team in one place has become quite difficult over time with me living in Amsterdam and everyone being super busy. Still, this time we made it and it was perfect. I flew in for a ski trip with the family and could luckily combine this holiday with a Saturday in the beautiful Wachau region.
On our way back from skiing, Nik picked me up at this wonderful gas station in the middle of nowhere and drove us to Martin’s wine cellar. Only 3pm in the afternoon and you could already hear the first bottles popping!
And there we went, getting all the camera equipment up to speed while having one or the other sip of wine we got ready and prepared for a photo shoot.
With the whole team being rather camera-shy, we found out that the golden liquor made everything suddenly super easy and loose…from the classy Linkedin pictures to funny faces and indispensable team photographs – we did it all!

Four hours of laughter and shooting later, we rounded up the day with – what else could it be – the real Wiener Schnitzel and Backhenderl at the Essl restaurant..not surprising we had a blast!

Guys, thanks a lot for this awesome day, undoubtedly the best way of ending a great week in Austria!

Keep it up,
Val
